Frequently asked questions

Does the clinic have its own parking spaces?

Our eye clinic has its own parking spaces directly in front of the entrance. They are designated accordingly.

Is it possible to enter the clinic with a pushchair?

Our clinic is located on the ground floor and is easily accessible in a wheelchair or with a pushchair. The clinic offers spacious waiting and examination rooms and barrier-free access. We also offer a baby-care room and mobile diagnostic devices.

How can I make an appointment?

The easiest way to make your preferred appointment is via our online appointment tool. You may also contact us via email or telephone.

Can I make my own appointment or do I need a referral?

You may be referred to us or make your own appointment.

I am employed and subject to regular business hours. Is there any possibility to book an appointment?

We shall do our utmost to find an individual appointment for you even outside of our regular opening hours. If your preferred appointment is not available on our website, please contact us via email or telephone and ask for an individual appointment.

How long will my consultation last?

The first consultation will require more time in order for us to get to know you better. We therefore schedule 30 minutes per patient. After that, 15-20 minutes will be sufficient for a standard adult examination. If the examination requires a dilation of the pupil, the consultation will last approx. 1 hour due to the waiting time during pupil dilation.

May I drive to the clinic in my own car?

If the examination does not include a dilation of the pupil, you may of course drive to the clinic yourself. If pupil dilation is required or if a surgical intervention or laser treatment is  planned, we strongly recommend you have a third person drive you and get you home safely.
