Alexandra Winkler, MPA

Born and bred in St. Gall, Alexandra Winkel was trained to become a medical physician’s assistant (MPA) in St. Gall. After receiving her diploma, she acquired professional experience in practical medicine but also in research in the areas of Zürich and Schwyz for many years. While providing further professional experience in other medical disciplines, she specializes in ophthalmology. Owing to more than ten years of professional experience in eye clinics, she is highly proficient in the fields of pre-examinations, diagnostics, medical imaging as well as visual field tests. In addition, she structures our consultation hours and the clinic with a high quality of organizational skills. Attentive and accommodating, she is very popular and has become the first contact person for our patients and their worries and wishes. Besides her mother tongue German, she is also fluent in English and Italian.
